Built and continue to operate a mobile cooler and freezer rental business serving Beausejour and surrounding markets.


Oversee all aspects of operations—from fleet maintenance and logistics to customer service, marketing, and financial management.


Expanded market presence through targeted business development, driving steady revenue growth and establishing Big Chill as a trusted regional provider.


Adapted offerings to customer needs, ensuring reliable service for events, businesses, and emergency situations.

Contract Consultant (Transportation Renewal) for River East Transcona School Division – June 2023 – Dec 2023


Engaged by former CFO, Elise Downey, to restore order and efficiency in the Transportation Department.


Started on a short-term, 3-day-a-week contract in June; quickly expanded to full-time as the depth of challenges became clear.


Led a six-month operational renewal—clarified roles, streamlined workflows, and introduced employee-driven improvements that boosted ownership and accountability.


Rebuilt trust across the department by combining structure with frontline input, leading to smoother daily operations and stronger team morale.


Returned the following summer (June–Sept 2024) for part-time support, reinforcing systems and ensuring lasting alignment between staff, processes, and leadership.


Contract Consultant (Transportation Overhaul) for Seine River School Division – Jan 2023 – March 2023



Brought back by former CFO, Scott Carlton, to stabilize a struggling Transportation Department.


Stepped into an 8-week full-time engagement to uncover systemic inefficiencies, restore accountability, and rebuild leadership.


Diagnosed root causes of chronic delays and cost overruns, then introduced streamlined procedures, clear performance metrics, and modernized operational systems.


Recruited and onboarded a new department manager, positioning the team for long-term success.


Due to strong early results, extended for an additional 3 months at 3 days per week to reinforce execution, mentor leadership, and ensure a seamless transition—leaving the department stable, efficient, and future-ready.
